Welcome to Train Trips
Every time we travel some place new we wonder what’s the hotel going to be like, will we find it, where to eat, and where to park when we get there? Wouldn’t it be nice to know the answers ahead of time?
Welcome to Train Trips. These train trips can be anywhere. They leave from stations in places like Durango, Colorado; Chama, New Mexico; Canon City, Colorado; Chehalis, Washington, or Garibaldi, Oregon. Or even Union Station in Portland. They might be international. The U.K., North Africa, or perhaps as far away as Australia. If you’ve been there, someone else is thinking about it and asking all the questions above. Help them plan their trip by sharing yours.
Train Trips welcomes short reviews and helpful tips and hints on your experiences on tourist and restoration railroads or museums around the world. Hints like where and when to get tickets, where to stay, where to park, and a few good places to eat. Short is 200 to 500 words, and a couple of jpgs from the trip would whet appetites and make your point. We will submit a copy to you before the post goes up with 48 hours to approve or ask for changes. Not comfortable as a writer? Don’t worry. It’s about the information and helping your fellow rail fans. Oh, this is 250 words.
